"Your first 10,000 photographs
are your worst."

~ Henri Cartier-Bresson

Every photographer approaches their art differently.

Some photographers aim to capture the moment or scene as faithfully as possible, allowing the subject matter to tell the story.

Other photographers aim to use photography to enhance or distort reality in order to tell a different story.

I aim to strike a balance. My goal is to capture a moment in time, to freeze a scene be pondered or remembered, but done in a beautiful way. I want to create images which, if successful, appeal to the aesthetic sensibilites of the viewer while simultaneously telling a story.

What is my mantra?

That's easy.
